Summer has a different meaning for everyone. For me it means that regular shows will be in reruns and I will have to find new shows to watch for the summer season. Good thing for me that direct tv has hundreds of channels to choose from and with my DVR I will be all set for this summer. Even better, my current directtv has on demand movies and some shows. That means that if I forget to DVR things or want to try out a new show or movie I can without having to wait to tape it or for it to come on. Do you need some help making it through this summer? They often have have incentives during different times of the year where you can get packages to try for free or upgraded HD service. Make sure to see if you qualify for any special deals. I was able to get HD for 6 months and the premium movie channels for 6 months when I first signed up. It is a great way to try out things that you might not other wise look at. My wife is pregnant with our 3rd and wants to take a vacation before she gets to big to enjoy it and also for our 2 boys since we are likely to housebound for a while after the little one gets here.  We started to look around and decided that we should probably consider staying closer since we do live in Florida and have a ton of great places to choose from.  She really likes the Orchid Island Golf and Beach Club, http://www.orchidislandgolfandbeachclub.com/, which is Vero Beach.  It is just south enough that the weather will be different but it will not be as hot and as expensive as Miami.

It is a gorgeous golf course where you are not just a number like many of the large resort in the state.  I know Disney might be the most wonder place on earth but you are just one of a sea of thousands and at the end of the day you are just a dollar sign.  At Orchid Island you are a guest and will be treated like you deserve whether it be at the course or eating at the restaurant.   I can’t wait to get down there and relax.

I have been in school for what seems like forever.  I finally took my last tax class and am scheduled to take the  irs exam this summer and hopefully will be certified and practicing someplace shortly there after.   Some of the people that I spoke with that have already taken the test suggested taking one of the online training courses.  You learn all you need in school but now you need to practice on taking the test.  It is kind of like the SAT but for taxes.

You never learned new materials of the SAT but you took classes on how to take the test and do better at it.  Well this is what these classes are like.  You do not want to be the guy that went to school for years just to have to wait to take the test again because you did not get your certification.

Since I have a couple months to prep I thin k I will be taking one of those classes for sure.  I want to knock it out of the park the first time.
