Millimeters as in the focal length of the lens, the distance between the front and rear glass elements of the lens. Not the distance to the wildlife. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
100 millimeters is about 4″, did you mean 100 meters?
What I’m using is the Manfroto 682B monopod, which has extendable spikes on the bottom, which fold in and out of the monopod tube.
What monopod do you use? It seems to stand on it’s own.
Yes, that’s the lens. I purchased it used about eight years ago. Excellent glass.

cool vid, but add some of your shots though out the vid. other wise people lose attention.. you know alot of stuff in detail. but try adding some of you pics. and maybe show the wildlife u see too.
